Two Hamilton police cruisers were involved in a collision at the corner of Highway 6 and Dundas Street East in Dundas.

Officers say at around 7:30 a.m., two cruisers were responding to a “priority call for service” when the vehicle in front of them at the intersection hit the brakes suddenly.

The sudden action caused the cars to collide into each other, damaging all three vehicles.

Authorities say one officer was treated as a precaution and no one else was injured in the collision.

The intersection has since reopened.
