Four people charged after month-long drug trafficking investigation

Halton police’s Street Crime Unit Investigators in Burlington say they have made four arrests and laid nearly 30 charges after a month-long drug trafficking and property theft investigation.
On Nov. 4, officers executed two search warrants,one at a residence in Hamilton and the second at a residence in Burlington.
Halton police told CHCH News the warrant in Burlington was completed at a residence in the area of New Street and Burloak Drive. The Hamilton warrant was executed on Beach Boulevard.
Police say the following items were seized by police as a result of these warrants:
- 28 grams of fentanyl
- $12,400 in counterfeit cash
- Stolen identification
- Stolen licence plate
- Stolen cheque book
- Replica revolver
- Stolen Ford Explorer
- Chevrolet Blazer
Investigators say they also arrested four people as a result of this investigation.
Police arrested a 39-year-old Hamilton man. He has been charged with four offences including possession of controlled substance, counterfeit currency, theft and breach of probation.
A 28-year-old Hamilton woman has also been arrested and charged with four offences including possession of a controlled substance, counterfeit currency, theft and breach of release order.
A 30-year-old Burlington man has been arrested and charged with 12 offences including possession of fentanyl, theft of motor vehicle, possession of dangerous weapons and four counts of breach of probation.
A 29-year-old female of Burlington has been arrested and charged with seven offences including three counts of theft, possession of dangerous weapons and possession of counterfeit currency.
