Residents of St. Catharines will go to the polls to cast their votes for the city’s next mayor and other municipal officials on Oct. 26, 2026.

The full list of key dates for the election can be found on the city’s website.

St. Catharines Mayor Mat Siscoe announced in July that he would be running for re-election in the 2026 race. Siscoe has served as the city’s mayor since November 2022 after a tenure on council for St. Patrick’s Ward from 2010 to January 2022. He established the St. Catharines OutReach and Engagement Fund (SCORE), which supports local non-profits.

The deadline to submit or withdraw nominations is Aug. 21 at 2 p.m.

Candidates are listed alphabetically by last name alongside a brief bio. This page will be updated regularly as the race develops, and individual ward candidate lists will follow the same format.
