Halton police charged a Burlington man Thursday in connection with an investigation into child exploitation involving social media that began in May.

Officers arrested 34-year-old Mark Kiczorowski Thursday and charged him with offences including making child sexual abuse and exploitation material, 10 counts of voyeurism and five counts of mischief under $5,000.

Detectives say the voyeurism charges stem from the surreptitious recording of people at various locations across Burlington.

The accused has been held in custody pending a bail hearing in Milton.

Investigators are concerned that there may be additional victims, and are asking anyone with information to contact police at 905-825-4747 ext. 8986.

Tips can also be provided to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), or through their website at www.haltoncrimestoppers.ca
