Election privacy breach being probed

The OPP and Ontario’s information and privacy commissioner are investigating a privacy breach of voter data in up to 25 provincial ridings.

Chief electoral officer Greg Essensa is also promising a full investigation.

Call centres have been set up to help people find out what electoral district they’re in — and if they’ve been affected. It’s available on the Elections Ontario website.
