Dunnville house fire leads to 1 arrest, 5 sent to hospital
Ontario provincial police say one person was arrested, and five people were sent to hospital late Tuesday night after a fire in Dunnville.
Officers say at just before midnight Tuesday a fire broke out at a home on Alder Street.
Police closed the road during the investigation, but has reopened it later Wednesday morning.
OPP says the Office of the Fire Marshall is assisting inn the ongoing investigation, and warn that police and fire personnel will be in the area for an extended period of time.
Investigators say the person that was arrested is scheduled to apepar at a Cayuga courthouse Wednesday.
Police posted on X after around 9 a.m. that a fire broke out at a home in Haldimand County earlier in the morning.
One person is in custody in relation to a fire in #Dunnville @HaldimandCounty.
