Dundas Legion’s ‘Catch the Ace’ draw nears $750K jackpot after 13 weeks

The Dundas Catch the Ace is not only a community lottery, but it has also raised millions for local charities in and around the Hamilton area.

Wednesday’s jackpot is projected to reach $750,000 dollars, with the weekly prize at over $30,000.

Since launching in August of 2023, Dundas Catch the Ace, presented by the Dundas Legion and St. Joseph’s Villa Foundation, has hosted 101 weekly draws and generated more than $3.3 million in support of over 40 charitable organizations and community initiatives throughout Dundas, Hamilton and surrounding communities.

Those proceeds are supporting a wide range of needs in the community – from local seniors care, hospice and palliative care to youth sports and music groups.

Tickets can be purchased online or in person at either the St. Joseph’s Villa Foundation office in Dundas, or at the Dundas Legion.

The next card will be drawn at 8 p.m. Wednesday, with a ticket sales deadline at 7:30 p.m.
