Deer hunter shot in Dunnville

OPP and the Ministry of Natural Resources are investigating after a deer hunter was shot in Haldimand County.

Police say that on Monday morning, several hunters were hunting in Dunnville when a 53 year old man shot at a deer.

However, the round hit one of the men in the leg instead.

The 35 year old from Parry Sound was taken to hospital and is expected to be ok.
