Niagara police have arrested a man and a woman in connection with a dangerous driving incident in Fort Erie last week.

Officers found a black 2018 Ford Mustang belonging to a wanted female suspect driving on Garrison Rd. near Kraft Rd. on May 4.

Police say the mustang stopped at a plaza and the male driver entered a store, while the female suspect remained seated in the passenger seat.

Officers blocked in the mustang as soon as the driver returned. Police say the driver suddenly accelerated, causing it to jump over a cement parking curb and onto a grassy area.
