Director highlights Canadian icon’s journey in Man in Motion: The Rick Hansen Story

A Canadian icon is back in the spotlight, as Rick Hansen’s incredible journey in Man in Motion: The Rick Hansen Story hits the big screen.

The story follows the incredible 26 month journey Hansen undertook in his wheelchair starting back in the 80s.

Hansen traveled more than 40,000 kilometres across 34 countries, raising $26 million to remove barriers.

The film is produced by fellow Canadian icon Ryan Reynolds, and directed by Adrian Buitenhuis.
