Thursday has been the warmest Christmas Eve on record.

Morning temperatures hit 15 degrees in Hamilton beating the previous record of 14.4 degrees back in 1964.

People were out taking advantage of the warm weather Thursday.

Many were spotted without jackets downtown. At gore park, amusement rides were open.
