Supercrawl Skytop Live concert series kicks off Thursday

Supercrawl’s special weekend of music in downtown Hamilton begins Thursday.

It’s being dubbed the Skytop Live Concert Series.

This year’s event will be a five-concert series of distanced performances at the temporary open-air venue on top of the municipal parkade on York Blvd. and MacNab St.

Tim Hicks will kick things off Thursday night.

Organizers say the series has been designed and produced in accordance with public health best practices, keeping COVID-19 restrictions in mind.

Each person will be assigned a reserved seat spaced 2 metres apart from others and receive a face mask upon entry.

Other performances include Lee Harvey Osmond and The Sadies.
