As a result of the investigation that began in August, a man from Fonthill, in Pelham, was identified as a suspect.

On Thursday, officers executed a search warrant at a Fonthill home.

Investigators say the digital forensic examination on scene led to the arrest of 46-year-old Andrew Joseph Pineault for several offences related to child sexual abuse and exploitation material.

Pimeault was held in custody after his arrest and is set to appear for a bail hearing on Thursday at the Robert S.K. Welch Courthouse in St. Catharines.
