Police seek three suspects of attempted bank robbery in Wainfleet

Niagara police are looking for three men who tried to rob a bank in Wainfleet.
Police said it happened late yesterday afternoon on Highway 3.

Investigators said around 4:40 p.m., three masked men attended the front foyer of the bank. One of them was brandishing a handgun, however they were unable to gain access to the bank due to security measures in place. The men then exited and fled the scene.

The suspects are described as follows:

Suspect 1: Black man in his 20s with a medium build. Wearing a black face covering, black hooded sweatshirt, black pants;
Suspect 2: Black man in his 20s with short with thin build. Wearing a black face covering, black jacket with grey inner hood, black pants, black running shoes;
Suspect 3: White man in his 20s Wearing a black face covering, grey hooded sweatshirt, grey sweatpants, white shoes.
