One person dead after single vehicle collision in Halton Hills

Police say one person involved in a collision in Halton Hills on Sept. 30 has died in hospital.

At approximately 3:51 p.m. Monday, officers were notified of a serious single vehicle collision in the area of Regional Road 25 and 17 Sideroad.

A white passenger van was travelling north on Regional Road 25 when it left the roadway, hitting a tree.

The three passengers in the van were transported to hospital with life threatening injuries. The driver was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

On Oct. 1, investigators report that one of the passengers died in hospital.

At this time, authorities say two of the passengers remain in critical condition.
