Police arrest man involved in Brantford nightclub shooting

Police say they have arrested a man believed to be involved in a shooting outside a Brantford nightclub in June.

On June 4, 2025, officers responded to reports of a shooting outside a nightclub located on Colborne Street near Clarence Street.

One man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Further investigation led to the search of a Darling Street apartment on Oct. 2 around 5:40 a.m.

As a result, a 26-year-old man from Brantford stands charged with the following offences:

• Aggravated assault
• Possession of weapons dangerous
• Discharge firearm
• Careless use of firearm
• Pointing firearm
• Carry concealed weapon
• Unauthorized possession of firearm
