Driver involved in two crashes

A Mississauga man has been charged after two separate crashes.

Police say the driver left the scene after a two-car crash early Saturday on Brandon Gate Drive in Mississauga only to slam into a tree shortly thereafter.

A 19 year old woman had to be cut out of the car by emergency crews in the first crash, and was airlifted to hospital.

Nisanth Srikanthan is charged with impaired driving and failing to remain at the scene of a crash.
