Listeria concern with mushrooms

A farm in Leamington is recalling sliced mushrooms due to a risk of listeria contamination.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says people should not eat the Highline and Compliments brand sliced white mushrooms, sold in eight ounce containers.

The products are sold across Ontario and possibly in other provinces as well.

So far there have been no reports of illnesses linked to the mushrooms.

Food tainted with listeria may not look rotten but can cause high fever, nausea and severe headaches.
