LIUNA Gardens to close its doors in 2020

First Published:

A popular event centre in Winona will be closing its doors at the end of next year.

LIUNA Gardens will be shutting down in December 2020 after 35 years of business.

The announcement was made late Wednesday in a post on the venue’s Facebook page.

“We would like to sincerely thank everyone for all the amazing memories and for allowing us the honour and the pleasure to host your extraordinary events!” reads the post.

The conference and convention centre has hosted thousands of weddings, bridal showers, dinners, and corporate events.

LIUNA Gardens says it will continue to provide service to all of its patrons in the coming months.

The venue says it is preparing to bring another “exciting initiative to life on the shores of Lake Ontario.”
