Hamilton police investigate 3rd shooting this week, no one injured

Hamilton police are investigating the third shooting of the week, with bullet casings found in the area of Campbell Ave. and Grosvenor Ave. North early Friday morning.

Officers say people were inside of the home when the shooting happened around 3 a.m., but no one was injured.

Detectives are asking residents in the area to review their surveillance cameras between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. for any suspicious activity.

The first shooting of the week happened early Tuesday morning in the Crown Point West area of Cannon St. East at Balmoral Ave. North.

Police say shots were fired at a home with people inside, but there were no reported injuries.

Shots were also fired overnight in a central Hamilton neighborhood Wednesday at around 9 p.m. Officers say no one was injured in this incident as well.
