Drugs & guns seized during search warrant on the Hamilton mountain

A Hamilton couple are facing multiple drug and gun related charges after a drug investigation on the Hamilton mountain.

Police say they received information about drug activity from a residence in the area of Red Hill Valley Expressway and Mud St W. On Wednesday a search warrant was granted for the home as well as two vehicles.

One vehicle was located in the area of Stone Church and Upper Ottawa. A man was arrested and police found a mixture of fentanyl and heroin. A short time later a woman was arrested when she returned to the residence.

During the search warrant police seized 2 handguns, ammunition, cocaine, fentanyl, pills and cash. A 29 year old man and a 33-year-old woman, both from Hamilton are schedule to appear in court later today.
