Wynne in Ottawa

Kathleen Wynne was in Ottawa today. The Liberal leader spoke about her party’s dedication to clean-up the polluted Ottawa River, and says it remains a top priority for the Liberals.

“It is very important that we move forward. The provincial government put $65 million on the table as part of our budget. The NDP and Conservatives, by rejecting that budget have put that at risk. And I think it is very important to understand, we are the party that is committed to revitalizing that plan and putting that money back on the table if elected.”

Wynne is also accusing the other parties of choosing “politics over problem-solving”, and says political games are putting the river clean-up at risk.
