Westmount grad gets to sing with Keith Urban

Talk about a big break! A young singer from Hamilton is set to share the stage tomorrow night with Keith Urban.

Roslyn Witter, 19, won the chance to sing “We Were Us” with urban. She beat out over 200 other submissions for the chance to share the big stage at Tim Hortons Field.

Witter’s father Jim played in bands while she was growing up and she’s been singing all her life. The recent graduate of Westmount Secondary is planning to give the music biz a shot.

She says she hasn’t gotten much sleep since she got the news yesterday. There are still tickets available for the concert tomorrow night.
