Video of guards restraining Ashley Smith shown at inquest

The jury presiding over Ashley Smith’s inquest had their first look at the teen, through disturbing video footage presented in court.

Smith is the 19 year old New Brunswick girl, who spent 11 months in federal prisons before she tied a cloth around her neck, and died in a Kitchener jail cell. Cristina Tenaglia has the story.
