TTC bus crashes into building

Four people were sent to hospital after a TTC bus crashed into two cars and then slammed into the side of a building near Richmond and Peter streets in Toronto Sunday morning.

According to witnesses, the bus allegedly ran a red light and then hit two cars – a rental car with two German tourists, and a taxi. The bus then crashed into Little Nicky’s coffee shop.

Police responded to a three-vehicle collision just after 10 am.

The four people taken to hospital with non life threatening injuries include the bus driver, two passengers and the driver of the taxi.

Police are reviewing camera footage from the area to determine the cause of the crash.
