VIDEO: U.S President Donald Trump appeared to reverse course on how he intends to approach Cuba Thursday. One day after saying he wouldn’t escalate matters with the Cuban regime, Trump now says it looks like he’ll be the first President to intervene in the country. The latest comes as U.S. prosecutors indicted former Cuban President Raul Castro on murder charges, tied to the shoot-down of two civilian planes operated by a exile group in 1996. Secretary of State Marco Rubio told reporters Thursday that it looks like a “peaceful agreement” with the Cuban government is “unlikely” at this point. Meanwhile, the country continues to endure a energy and humanitarian crisis as the geopolitical tensions remain hot.
