No Ebola symptoms for air passenger amid recent U.S. travel restrictions

VIDEO: An air passenger who’d been in Congo and who was diverted to Montreal is now on their way back to Paris. The passenger’s Paris-to-Detroit flight was diverted because U.S. Ebola restrictions mean certain travelers can only enter the U.S. through Washington, DC. The Public Health Agency of Canada says a Canadian government quarantine officer assessed the traveler in Montreal and determined they had no symptoms. It’s among the latest efforts to keep the Ebola outbreak from reaching American soil.
