Town hall held on Sheridan sex assaults

Halton Police are holding a town hall meeting, after a series of sexual assaults on the Sheridan College campus in Oakville.

The meeting will be held at the Sheridan College gymnasium and will run from 5 to 6:30 pm. Investigators believe the recent assaults are connected. They say the suspect appears to be using the trail system around the college.

The suspect is described as male, between 5 foot 4 and 5 foot 7 with a medium build. He was seen wearing a dark coloured jacket with a hood. The rim of the hood is lined with a light coloured material and/or fur.
