Ancaster hound gets award of merit at Westminster

Olympic athletes aren’t the only ones competing today. This is also day two of the Westminster Kennel Club dog show in New York City.

You may remember Cecil the bassett hound from Ancaster. He returned to Westminster for another run this year.

His owner and handler, Josephine Lambert tells us Cecil has been given an “award of merit” out of 14 bassett hounds in the competition. The best of show will be announced tonight.
