Toronto Public Health is warning Pearson International Airport travellers about a potential measles exposure.
The health unit is investigating a case of measles, with members of the public possibly being exposed on March 2 on Air Canada Flight AC 002 from Tokyo to Toronto.
Anyone at Pearson’s Terminal 1 on March 2 between 4:50 p.m. to 7:40 p.m. also may have been exposed.
Travellers on that flight or in Terminal 1 on that date and during that time are asked to monitor for symptoms until March 23.
Symptoms can include fever, runny nose, cough, red eyes, a red rash that begins on the face and spreads down the body, and small blue-white spots that can appear on the inside of the mouth and throat.
