Tire flies off truck and hits car

A close call on the 403 eastbound at Highway 6 South Tuesday afternoon.

A tire fell off a tanker truck just before 4 o’clock hitting a car. Luckily, no one was seriously injured and it didn’t cause much of a traffic backup. An officer will inspect the truck to determine why the tire came loose before it can be towed away.
