Technology update causes delay of deliveries to LCBO stores

The Liquor Control Board of Ontario (LCBO) says technology updates have caused a delay in the delivery of alcohol to its stores and bars across the province.
The LCBO says the implementation of a new warehouse management system in mid-June caused some interruption in service and led to empty shelves in some stores.
There are no supply issues but deliveries are moving at a slower pace than usual. Some stores have lined the shelves with signs advising customers to ask for alternative suggestions to the out-of-stock items.
The LCBO did not say when the issue would be resolved or how many of its stores have been affected.
