Suspects sought in Capilano home invasion

Hamilton police are on the lookout for two suspects after a 63 year old man was bound and beaten in his own home early Thursday morning.

Police say he was tied up for nearly an hour while two men went through his house on Capilano Drive. The man apparently broke free when they left, and called 911. He was treated for minor injuries. Police are still checking to see what – if anything – was taken from the house.

One of the men they’re looking for is:

• White,
• in his twenties,
• about 175 pounds
• stocky build
• wearing dark clothing.

There’s no description yet of the second suspect. Anyone with information should contact police or Crime Stoppers.
