Suspect wanted in Jackson Square ATM robbery: Hamilton Police

Hamilton Police are looking for two suspects following a robbery that happened the the Royal Bank on the King Street side of Jackson Square Wednesday morning.
Police say a man entered the ATM vestibule to withdraw cash around 7:00 a.m. As he entered, he noticed a woman sitting inside. After he left, another man started following him, and then demanded the cash that was withdrawn.
The suspect then pulled out what looked like a pool ball in a sock and swung at the victim. The victim was able to deflect some of the impact but was still hit in the head and hand.
The woman who was sitting in the ATM vestibule then joined the the other suspect with a knife and also swung at the victim.
The victim was able to run away and report it to police.
One of the suspects has been identified as 22-year-old Desiree Peterson. A warrant has been issued for her arrest and she is wanted for Robbery, Assault with a weapon and Breach probation X 6.
The other man who was involved remains unknown but is described as 5’7′, white, thin, in his 20s or 30s, with hair parted and pulled to one side.
