Motorcyclist killed after crash on Eastport Drive under Burlington Skyway

Ontario Provincial Police have closed Eastport Drive and Beach Road after a fatal crash involving a motorcycle and another vehicle Friday.

Officers say a passenger vehicle turned in front of a motorcycle on Eastport Drive under the Burlington Skyway.

A freelancer told CHCH News that the incident happened at around 2 p.m.

They say the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said in a post on X just before 4 p.m. that drivers should expect delays for the next several hours for the investigation to be completed.
