Summer safety blitzes

Safety blitzes will be held across the province as we get ready to celebrate the first long weekend of the summer.

Police will be focusing their attention on impaired drivers and those driving above the speed limit.

There will be ride checks set up, and marine officers will be out on the water this Canada Day long weekend.

The goal is to ensure a safe start to the summer season.
