Hamilton’s St Thomas More Knights were in Burlington to tackle the Assumption Crusaders in a Golden Horseshoe Athletic Conference semi-final game.

Tiger-Cats head coach Kent Austin was trackside for this one; his son, Wesley, is a receiver for Assumption.

The St Thomas More Knights beat Burlington Assumption 20-14; they advance to an OFSSA bowl game to be played at Tim Hortons field next week.

In the other semi-final, Hamilton’s Cardinal Newman defeated Burlington Nelson 24-11; they advance to a bowl game on Monday.
