Niagara police have charged a sixth person in connection with a September 2025 shooting in Grimsby, Ont.

Officers say they charged 27-year-old Bellaluddin Shahabuddin of Thorold, Ont. on Friday with:

  • Conspiracy to commit an indictable offence;
  • Aggravated assault;
  • Careless use of a firearm;
  • Discharging a firearm with intent to wound;
  • Pointing a firearm;
  • Carrying a concealed weapon and;
  • Unauthorized possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle.

Investigators say this marks a total of 128 charges related to the shooting that happened on Sept. 24, 2025.

The September shooting happened on South Service Road near Kelson Avenue North and left one man with serious, non-life-threatening injuries.

Detectives have held Shahbuddin in custody ahead of his Monday bail hearing in St. Catharines.
