A crash involving multiple vehicles Thursday afternoon in downtown St. Catharines has sent a pedestrian that was struck to hospital with serious injuries.
Niagara police have closed Church Street between Court and Clarke streets to investigate after a pedestrian was struck and a vehicle failed to stop.
The collision is under investigation and details about the suspect driver and vehicle have not been confirmed yet.
The Niagara police collision reconstruction unit is on the scene and has closed part of the road until later Thursday evening.
Anyone with information, security or dash camera video is asked to contact police.
