Reviewing, preventing pedestrian deaths
Ontario’s chief coroner to conduct review expected to be finished by spring.
Dr. Andrew McCallum says the review will look for common factors in pedestrian deaths and try to recommend ways to prevent them.
It’ll focus on pedestrians killed in 2010.
The public’s invited to offer comments or recommendations to the review panel before December 15th.
There are about 113 pedestrians killed each year in Ontario.
