Repeat federal offender arrested in Hamilton after unlawful release

Police have arrested a repeat federal offender in Hamilton after a Canada-wide warrant was issued in December.

Sheldon Eriya is serving a five-year sentence for discharge of a firearm with intent, aggravated assault, and possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking.

The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement Squad previously sought assistance from the public in locating him, and would like to thank all those who assisted in this investigation.
