Halton Police searching for two men after a pharmacy robbery

Halton Police are looking for two suspects who stole opioids from a pharmacy yesterday shortly after 6 p.m.
The pharmacy owner was too distraught to talk on camera. She was in the store, which was open, when two men walked in yesterday evening. One of them brandishing a gun, the other, a black lulu lemon bag used to collect the plunder.
The owner was forced to open her safe and her cash register and also hand over some opioids.
It was the second time she had been robbed in daylight hours in less than two weeks. She doesn’t think these are the same suspects.
Her husband confronted the first robbers when he encountered them by chance. The family business on Upper Middle Road, just west of Trafalgar, has only been open seven months.
None of the other tenants in this strip mall would agree to talk on camera either, but they are very shaken up about yesterday’s robbery. Many of them have also been targeted by robbers, or would-be robbers.
Police say the suspects fled in a grey Toyota camry, or similar car, which had a licence plate in the rear window.
Halton Police distributed surveillance photos this morning but no one responded to our requests for further information throughout the day.
