Halton police ask for the public’s assistance in locating a burial monument stolen from a Burlington cemetery.

On May 26, the monument was reported stolen from the Lowville United Church Cemetery located at 2707 Britannia Road. Officers say it is believed to have been taken between May 16 and May 22.

The monument is described as a large angel standing about four and a half feet tall, made of cast resin and weighs about 100 pounds.

Anyone who has seen the monument or anyone who may have information relating to its disappearance is asked to contact authorities at 905-825-4777 extension 2316.
