The LCBO says the initiative will remove roughly 135 million paper bags annually from its stores, diverting some 2,665 tonnes of waste from landfills.

Halton police say they are searching for 27 thieves connected to multiple incidents of shoplifting at LCBO stores across the region. They happened throughout May and June and as Manesa Dhanabalan tells us, 18 incidents have been reported at seven separate locations in just a couple of weeks.
