Police investigate after Rolls-Royce stolen in Ancaster home invasion

Police are investigating after a Rolls-Royce was stolen during a home invasion in Ancaster early Thursday morning.
Officers say three men broke into the home on Jerseyville Road East around 4 a.m.
The men allegedly ordered the homeowner to give them the keys to his 2014 Rolls-Royce Wraith.
“Three males gained entry through the front door of a residence off of Jerseyville Road East in Ancaster, by smashing glass with a rock and gaining entry by unlocking the door,” police said.
Officers say two people were home at the time of the incident, but no one was injured.
Investigators say the suspects were all wearing masks, dark clothing and latex gloves.
The stolen two-door Rolls-Royce is black and champagne in colour with licence plate number CHFT 636 and VIN number SCA665C52EUX84380.
“This follows the epidemic of home invasion thefts aimed at high end luxury automobiles,” officials said.
Anyone with information or video of the home invasion from 3:30 a.m. to 4:15 a.m. are asked to contact police.
