Pedestrian killed early Friday morning in Brantford crash

Brantford police say a person has died after being struck by a car near the intersection of Market and Darling streets early Friday morning.

Officers say the crash happened at around midnight and the pedestrian was brought to hospital where they died from their injuries.

The driver remained at the scene and is reportedly cooperating with detectives.
