OPP investigating online threat linked to Caledonia school

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) say they are investigating a threat complaint regarding a school in Caledonia.

At approximately 5 p.m. Wednesday, officers received a report of a threat made to McKinnon Park Secondary School.

Investigators have determined that a large group of young people exchanged insults via a social media platform. A member of that group uttered a threat that caused concerned parents to report it to police.

The OPP is now investigating the individual and threat made.
