Police arrest six Brantford residents, seize over $70K worth of drugs

Police have arrested six Brantford residents and seized over $70,000 worth of substances following a drug trafficking investigation.

In the winter of 2026, officers began investigating a residence located in the downtown core they believed was linked to drug trafficking.

On Feb. 27, authorities executed a search warrant at the residence and seized the following:

  • 770 hydromorphone pills
  • 173 grams of suspected cocaine
  • 136.6 grams of suspected fentanyl
  • 9.5 grams of suspected methamphetamine

The total estimated street value of the seized drugs is approximately $70,942. Detectives say additional evidence consistent with drug trafficking was also located and seized.

As a result of the investigation, a 44-year-old Brantford man, a 33-year-old Brantford man, a 62-year-old Brantford woman, a 39-year-old Brantford woman and a 62-year-old Brantford man were all charged with the following:

  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, Cocaine, Hydromorphone, and Heroin (five counts)

A 28-year-old man from Brantford has also been charged with Possession of a Schedule I Substance (fentanyl).
