VIDEO: War has been officially declared along the Afghanistan and Pakistan border Friday. In the last 48 hours, a boiling point has been reached after both nations traded attacks. Tensions re-ignited when the Taliban government went after Pakistani troops at the border Thursday, claiming to be retaliation from past air strikes. Friday, the Pakistani military carried more air strikes in Kabul and and two other Afghan provinces. The dramatic escalation unfolding in Central Asia stems from Pakistan accusing the Taliban of harbouring militants in their country, which in turn, may be part of a wider conflict involving the border that separates them.
