Ontario is reporting 934 new cases of COVID-19 and ten new deaths.

Thursday’s numbers come as the province is set to release new COVID-19 modelling later in the day.

Premier Doug Ford says these projections will show things are moving in the right direction.

Over 40 per cent of the new cases reported Thursday are from Toronto, according to Minister of Health Christine Elliott.

New case numbers remain high in Peel, Ottawa and York Region, where public health officials have linked dozens of cases to a Vaughan wedding earlier this month.

Testing numbers are up, with 35,621 tests completed. There are 40,074 tests under investigation.

The province’s COVID-19 death toll is 3,118.
